On-Site Machining Services in KSA, Brought to Your Equipment
Some repairs need a machine tool, but the equipment is too big, too heavy or too critical to move. Our portable machines bore, mill and drill in place, so the repair is done where the equipment stands.
Repairing in place instead of removing equipment
Removing a pump casing, a valve body or a large housing to send it to a workshop can take longer than the repair itself, and sometimes it cannot be done at all during a shutdown. On-site machining in KSA brings the machine tool to the part: portable boring bars, milling heads and drilling units are mounted directly on the equipment and machine it in place.
We use on-site machining for worn bores and bearing seats, damaged mating surfaces, broken studs that must be drilled out, and new holes or bolt circles on plates and flanges. Every job finishes with dimensional checks, recorded for your files.
Our on-site machining team also delivers flange facing and pipe cold cutting, so one crew can cover all the machining in a shutdown.

Portable machining processes we offer
Each machine is mounted on the part and set up to its datum before cutting.
Line boring
A boring bar supported on bearings either side restores worn or misaligned bores to size and alignment.
Milling
Portable milling heads machine flat surfaces such as pump splits, valve bonnets and equipment mounting pads.
Drilling and tapping
Magnetic and frame-mounted drills cut new holes and threads in place, including on vertical surfaces.
Plate boring
Large holes cut through plates and flanges to an accurate diameter and position.
Broken stud removal
Snapped studs drilled out of tapped holes and the threads restored.
Flange facing
Sealing faces restored with portable facers; see our flange facing service.
Our on-site machining process
Every machining job is measured before and after.
Survey and measure
We measure the damage and confirm access, datums and tolerances.
Plan the set-up
The machine, mounting method and cutting sequence are chosen and agreed.
Mount and align
The machine is mounted on the part and aligned to the datum.
Machine
Light cuts bring the part back to size, with checks between passes.
Measure and record
Final dimensions are measured and recorded for your files.
Clean and hand over
Swarf is removed and the part is ready for reassembly.
Where on-site machining is used

On-site machining services in KSA: common questions
What is on-site machining?
It is machining done with portable machine tools mounted directly on the equipment, so the part does not have to be removed and sent to a workshop.
Can you line bore on site?
Yes. Our boring bars are mounted on bearings either side of the bore to restore worn or misaligned bores to size.
Can you remove broken studs?
Yes. Broken studs can be drilled out of tapped holes and the threads restored or re-tapped.
Do you provide measurement records?
Yes. We measure before and after machining and record the final dimensions for each job.
Have equipment that needs machining in place?
Send photos, dimensions and the location. We will confirm the machine, crew and price.
